Not only does it give you a cute (and player controlled) interaction, if you hit the sweet spot, the stamina bar refills. The best part of the eagle, however, is the petting mechanic. The stamina bar only applies to running, not to gliding, so the only limit to how far the eagle can take you is height. It allows the player to glide and can build up boosts to lift you higher. The eagle companion you get also helps with movement. ![]() The feeling of racing through the forests and plains of the island is comparable to the web-swinging from Spider-Man PS4. It’s easy to build up speed and get into a rhythm and the speed’s balanced well enough that it feels fast but you have time to react to obstacles. A simple concept, but it’s an entertaining and tightly made system. There are talismans around the map which the player can shoot to gain a speed and stamina boost. The main mechanic of the game is movement based.
